Just checking to see how many complaints you get from proper church-folk for the word "pissed" appearing in your blog. John Wesley are surely rolling in their graves! lol
As you may or may not know.... 'pisseth' is a perfectly good English word found in the Old Testament, and is not an example of any sort of profanity. John Wesley himself used the word.
Perhaps you are already aware of a youtube video that exists called something like "worst sermon ever," but it deals with the "pisseth against the wall" translation in the KJV (1 Sam 25:22, 34; 1 Kgs 14:10; 16:11; 21:21; 2 Kgs 9:8). The highlight of the sermon for me is the statement "the translator's of the NIV pee standing up."

If you want some humor, trying getting a bunch of teens to read the KJV version of the Balaam story. You know, the one that uses the word 'ass' instead of 'donkey'.

Haha...that's true. I do remember a certain angry preacher on youtube delivering a sermon on that very term... :)
