'CITY LIGHTS'-- A LITTLE FRIDAY NIGHT MUSIC PLEASE!

Nelson Rangell is without question one of the most talented of all the so-called smooth jazz reed players, in addition to which he is a world-class flute and piccolo player as well. His sax playing is straight out of the David Sanborn school of smooth as this little night time number will attest--- enjoy. BW3

Dr. Witherington, dude, you write SO much. You're a genius.

Ah yes 'genius' a good Latin word, the plural of which is where we get the word genie (as in, in a bottle). The 'genius' in antiquity was the spirit of one's ancestor, particularly one's father, who was believed to inspire and guide one's thoughts. Since my father went to be with the Lord Nov. 29th, I'd like to think there is something to this notion. Thanks for the compliment.

Blessings,

Dr. Witherington, thanks for responding. Sorry for that "dude" comment--I wasn't expecting you to read it or respond...

Your own comment was full of personality too, though. I found it very enjoyable.

Blessings,
Michael

Artistic beauty must really be in the eye (ear) of the beholder. I cringed throuhg the first minute of that track, before wrestling the headphones from my ears. Reminds me of soft 1980's Bolton styled elevator music.

The accompanying cheese-pad, bassline and drum loop is closer to thursday morning shopping mall than it is friday night.
