WHAT TO DO IF YOUR BRIDE IS ALL WET

Who was it who thought that having a wedding service on top of a swimming pool was a smart move?

  1. It's not just swimming pools...I was once at a wedding where at the instruction,"You may kiss the bride," the groom turned and his foot slipped off the platform and he spent his wedding night getting a full-leg cast for his broken leg. I suspect it put a damper on the honeymoon.

  4. whoever they are, they are very spiritual people. You can tell from all the times they mention God and Jesus in the video... :-)

  5. Well, you know, maybe the minister remembered that the bride had not yet been baptized.

  6. Aw, the debasement of my mind! When I read the heading "What to do if your bride is all wet," my mind turned to other reprobate thoughts.

  7. I think the most gracious solution would have been for the groom to just jump in and finish the ceremony in the pool.

  8. All I know is that my wife would have been irate with me because I would have been on the ground laughing, no way I could have stopped myself. Also, the groomsman who tripped is awesome, just watch him reach out like he is going to stop them from falling, he must have felt horrible.

Reminds me of the one where the guy is taking off the garter and the brides little cousin comes up and punches him in the face.

  10. If the groom was thinking, he would have jumped in.

  11. The groom jumping in may not be such a good idea. The tux was probably rented, so you'd lose your deposit if you returned it water-logged. The dress on the other hand was probably owned by the bride, so no harm there.

  12. Well, here's the deal on that pool video. It's staged. I've produced enough TV commercials to know the truth vs. staging. The camera reaction to the accident was too orchestrated. And the crowd reaction was not natural either. You'll also notice some hesitancy of the guy who stumbles. My guess it's likely the work of an independent film or commercial director trying to get some publicity.
