I will be lecturing Wednesday Night at 7 p.m. at St. Thomas University in Houston, and all ya'll who are in range are welcome to come. This lecture is the first in the series in honor of the year of St. Paul, and will be on "Paul-- Oral Texts and Rhetorical Contexts"

The Center for Faith and Culture invites you to the "St. Paul & Evangelization Lecture Series" with lectures given by Dr. Ben Witherington, Dr. Carolyn Osiek, Dr. David B. Capes, Dr. Judy Ryan and His Eminence Daniel Cardinal DiNardo.
The "St. Paul and Evangelization Lecture Series" will reflect on aspects of how St. Paul evangelized "solely through the divine power of the message...both the personal and collective consciences of people, the activities in which they engage, and the lives and concrete milieu which are theirs." (Evangelii nuntiandi, no. 18). Time will be given to discuss the relevance of this in our world today.
The lecture series will also be held on March 11, March 18, March 25, and April 1, 2009.
Dr. Ben Witherington III is the speaker for this date.

ReplyDeleteAs a lot of Iphone/Ipod users know Amazon has released a application of their kindle for the Iphone/Ipod. So i installed it on my Ipod touch and, since I don't have any Kindle books to use with it, I thought of buy one. Guess what...It a Ben Witherington one. The one one the lord supper.
I think this will take me some time to read (Laundry Mat reading material) But looks good.
Now I can have a pocket version Of Ben anywhere I go.....
