I've been a lonely fan of theirs since the Royal Scam album I had in High School. And the only thing I ever liked as much was the Doobie's stuff with Michael in it. Didn't even know till later there was a connection. Apparently, Michael lives over here in Nashville, and there are reports that he is a Christian as well. Now, if we can just get those Dan boys to quit writing songs like "Godwhacker" maybe we can have some nice Jazz fusion inside the Pearly Gates ;)Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11853366401521123552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11840313.post-34261121759627778102009-05-12T10:29:00.000-07:002009-05-12T10:29:00.000-07:00I agree. Katy Lied, Pretzel Logic, and Countdown to Ecstasy are absolute classics. Fagan's The Nightfly nearly counts as a Dan album; and Pat Metheny's "Girls Next Door," on the "We Live Here" album, nearly counts as a Dan song. Looking forward to catching them here in Atlanta in August.Rob Suggshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04565586727038679732noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11840313.post-20362930611770145382009-05-10T06:19:00.000-07:002009-05-10T06:19:00.000-07:00I've never liked Steely Dan.
